At Lotus Therapy OT, the initial assessment is an important part of getting to know you and your child.

This one-hour appointment includes both parent or caregiver and the child, and can be completed either face to face or via telehealth, depending on your preference.

This session allows us to begin understanding your child’s strengths, needs, and goals in a supportive and collaborative way.

Every assessment is tailored to the individual. Following this initial session, we’ll continue to work together to develop a personalised therapy plan that best supports your child’s development and your family’s priorities.

At Lotus Therapy OT, therapy sessions are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. Sessions can be delivered in a location that best supports your child - whether that’s at home, at school, or out in the community (such as a local park).

Each session includes:

60 minutes of face-to-face therapy

A written session summary with strategies and recommendations.

Therapy continues at a mutually agreed frequency ensuring consistency and flexibility to suit your family’s routine.

Fees:

Therapy sessions: $193.99 per hour

Travel: $0.99 per kilometre, plus time charged at the hourly rate (capped at 30 minutes each way)

Reports: Available on request and billed at the hourly rate
